Elaine B. Davis Research Award The Elaine B. Davis Research Award is awarded to bring scholars to San Antonio, Texas, to work with the materials housed at the DRT Library. Mrs. Davis served as Director of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas Library from 1998-2008.

June Franklin Naylor Award The June Franklin Naylor Award is awarded annually to the author/illustrator of the most distinguished book for children and young adults, grades K-12, that accurately portrays the history of Texas, whether fiction or nonfiction.

Virginia M. Law Award The Virginia M. Law Award is given annually to the author/illustrator of the most distinguished book for young adults, grades 7-12, that accurately portrays the history of Texas, whether fiction or nonfiction.
